KOCHI: A six-year-old girl was found lying dead at her house in Kothamangalam. The dead is Muskan, daughter of Ajas Khan of Uttar Pradesh. The family has been staying at a rented house in Nellikuzhy.

Ajan Khan, his wife and two children were staying in the house. Muskan went to sleep after having dinner last night. The couple was in one room and the children in another room. The other child was a baby. When her mother went to wake her up in the morning, she was found lying dead.

The Kothamangalam police arrived, completed the inquest proceedings and other examinations. Forensic experts also reached the spot. Th body of the child has been shifted to the hospital for postmortem.
