PUNE: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat lashed out against the Ram temple-like disputes being raised in many parts of the country. He said such acts are unacceptable.
Mohan Bhagwat's response is in the backdrop of fresh controversies surrounding the origin of places of worship, including the Shahi Jama Masjid in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal and Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan.

'Ram temple is a matter of faith, it is an emotion. Hindus felt that the temple should be built. However, disputes arising elsewhere due to hatred and enmity cannot be accepted under any circumstances,' he said. Mohan Bhagwat was speaking in Pune as part of a series of lectures on the theme 'Vishwaguru Bharat'.

He said that Indians should try to make their country a model for the world by avoiding controversial issues and learning from past mistakes. Mohan Bhagwat clarified that returning to ancient culture is the solution to reducing tensions in society.

‘Extremism, and insulting gods of other religions are not our culture. There is no majority or minority here. We are all one. Everyone should be able to practice their way of worshipping,’ Bhagwat said.
