NAGERCOIL: Police have arrested a man in Anjugramam in Kanyakumari district who allegedly cut his wife into ten pieces and dumped them in bags. Marimuthu (35), a native of Tirunelveli Palayamkottai, was arrested. His wife Maria Satya (30) was killed. The murder took place on Thursday at 8.30 pm. The incident took place in a rented house in Anjugramam Palkulam. They came here 40 days ago.

Marimuthu, a meat cutter, was constantly torturing his wife, who was a worker in a Thoothukudi fish transport company, on the grounds of suspicion. On the day of the incident, the two had an argument over Maria Satya's phone call since morning. After raising the volume on the TV at night, Marimuthu slashed Maria Satya's throat with a meat cleaver.

Then the body was cut into ten pieces, washed and cleaned and filled into three bags. The house was also washed clean to destroy the evidence. Marimuthu came out with the bags at 9.30 pm and the locals got suspicious and asked what was in the bags. The reply was that they were leaving the rented house. The suspicious locals opened the bag and found the remains. Following this, they informed the police. Marimuthu and Maria Satya got married 10 years ago. The couple has two children. They study from a hostel in Palayamkottai.

Dogs barked at the bag

Stray dogs had barked and jumped at the bag when locals got suspicious and interrogated Marimuthu, who came out with bags full of remains of the dead body. This is what led to the revelation of the murder. A stray dog ​​was barking non-stop at the bag when more dogs came barking. With this, the locals forcefully opened the bag and checked it.
