KOZHIKODE: Crime branch has found out that Shuhaib, the owner of MS Solutions, a Koduvally based online YouTube channel, was the person who leaked the question paper for Christmas exam. A case has been filed against the institution under seven charges including fraud and breach of trust.

Crime branch SP K Moideenkutty said that Shuhaib and other employees will be summoned immediately for questioning. The performance of other private tuition institutes which have predicted questions along with MS Solutions will also be examined.

The statements of the teachers cooperating with the online institutes will be taken. A list of teachers has been prepared. Police have received information that some aided school teachers prepare questions for online centres. This will also be investigated.

Meanwhile, Xylem director Lijeesh Kumar said that if the question paper has been leaked, a proper investigation is required and the accused should be punished. "Xylem group is with the investigation. Xylem is working to support the public education sector. Some people are trying to get famous by using Xylem's name," he said.

Threatened to kill a teacher

A complaint has been filed alleging that Shuhaib had threatened a teacher. An audio has emerged of Shuhaib calling the teacher, who had asked not to study after looking at the question paper of M S Solutions, and verbally abusing him and threatening him.

The audio contains Shuhaib saying that he will come home and the rest will be decided there. The teacher has filed a complaint with the Koduvally police in this regard. It is learnt that this threat was before the controversies related to the question paper leakage. The teacher told the student that he should not come only after studying the questions of M S Solutions and that should study the book thoroughly and write the exam. This angered Shuhaib. The investigation team will examine this complaint also.
