KOTHAMANGALAM: Ajaz Khan, father of the murdered six-year-old UP native girl, revealed chilling details about the gruesome incident. Even neighbours admitted to seeing Anisha, the second wife of Ajaz, often beating the six-year-old girl.
Ajaz told police about an incident where he once warned Anisha to not beat the girl child anymore. However, Ajaz is still in disbelief over the murder as he never thought Anisha would go to that extreme. Ajaz Khan's daughter Muskan (six) from his first wife was found dead on Thursday morning. Stepmother Anisha had admitted during interrogation about suffocating the girl child to death.
The incident took place on Wednesday night. Ajaz Khan reached home around 10:30 pm night on the day and found nothing suspicious. He went back to work, returned at 2 and went to sleep. The next morning, he woke up to screams from Anisha saying that Muskan was not getting up from sleep.
The motive behind the murder stemmed from Anisha's fear that Muskan, her husband's daughter from his first marriage, would threaten her children's future. She was also distressed by the possibility of her husband, Ajaz Khan, reconciling with his first wife.
Ajaz Khan had been residing in Nellikkuzhi for over twenty years. After separating from his first wife, he began living with Anisha five months ago. Anisha began showing signs of mental issues after she became pregnant, prompting Ajaz to bring Naushad to his home for sorcery. On Thursday morning, Muskan was found dead at the house in Nellikkuzhi. Anisha was presented in court and remanded.
The investigation team concluded that Ajaz Khan was not involved in the murder. He started his life with Anisha, an Uttar Pradesh native, five months ago after having a falling out with his first wife.
