KOCHI: In a stunning turnaround, Kerala Blasters stunned their disappointed fans with a remarkable comeback, defeating Mohammedan SC by a three-goal margin at their home ground. Noah Sadaoui (80') and Alexandre Coeff (90') scored for the Blasters, with one being an own goal from Mohammedan SC. Interim coach PG Purushothaman's tactics also contributed to the victory.

Blasters' performance was not up to the mark in the first half. In the fourth minute, Noah Sadoui's surge with the ball gave hope, but he couldn't find the target. In the second half, both teams launched attacks, but goals remained elusive. Drinčić's two attempts at goal missed the mark. In the 60th minute, a free-kick awarded to the Kolkata side near the box was safely handled by Sachin Suresh. The much-awaited goal for the Blasters fans came in the 62nd minute, courtesy of an error by Bhaskar Roy. Misjudging a corner from Luna, Roy deflected the ball into his own net, gifting Kerala Blasters FC the lead. The own goal sent the gallery into a frenzy. In the 74th minute, Noah’s shot was blocked by Bhaskar Roy.

In the 80th minute, Noah struck. A well-executed free-kick by Korou Singh found Noah, who jumped and easily headed the ball into the net, sparking wild celebrations. Blasters' chants filled the air. Ten minutes later, they scored again. Captain Adrian Luna passed the ball to Alexandre Coeff, who slotted it into the net, resulting in the Blasters' third goal. Mohammedan's attacks were thwarted by the Blasters’ defence. Blasters made three changes from their last game for this match.
