THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister Suresh Gopi promised financial assistance to make the Senate Hall of the Kerala University headquarters fully air-conditioned. The project will cost around Rs four crore. The money will be allocated from the Union Tourism Minister's fund. On Monday, Suresh Gopi arrived at the university senate hall. He was received by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohanan Kunnummal and members of the Syndicate.
Suresh Gopi, while visiting the Senate hall was drawn back to the memories from the past and shared his film shooting experiences with the vice-chancellor. Throughout the years, Senate Hall has been a prime shooting location for many films. Suresh Gopi also recalled an incident when he fell throw a row of chairs arranged inside the Senate hall. Suresh Gopi studied at Fatima Mata National College, Kollam which comes under Kerala University.
