Drishyam is a movie that has thrilled Malayalees all over the world. The first part of Drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph with Mohanlal in the lead role, was a mega hit and later the second part was released. The film was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

After the release of Drishyam and Drishyam 2, there were questions from the audience whether there would be a third part of the film. Actor Mohanlal has now confirmed that there will be Drishyam 3. Mohanlal revealed this in an interview given to Suhasini for Galatta Tamil.

'The director had the script of Drishyam in his hands five years before shooting. It is heard that the script was presented before many, but none liked it. Antony told me that there is a subject like this and asked me to hear it. I was shocked after hearing the script.
