PANDALAM: Officials from Pandalam Palace selected Thriketta Nal Rajaraja Varma as representative of the Pandalam Valiyathampuran for the Thiruvabharanam procession that will leave the palace for Sabarimala on January 12th.

The Palace representative was appointed by the palace administration team on instructions from Valiyathampuran Thiruvonam Nal Ramavarma Raja. On January 12, the royal representative will lead the procession leaving the palace.

Thriketta Nal Rajaraja Varma is the son of the late Malathi Thamburati of Pandalam Oottupura Palace and the late Raman Namboothiri of Matiyath Ilom of Thrissur. He had worked at Premier Cables, Patspin, Ernakulam Lakshmi Hospital and even composed songs for Akashavani. Thriketta Nal Rajaraja Varma has acted in various serials on Doordarshan. He is now settled in Ernakulam Varyam road.

Rajaraja Varma’s wife is Sushma Varma of Kotushery Kovilakam. Children- Ramya R. Varma, Sujith R. Varma. Son-in-law- Abhilash G.

Pandalam Palace Executive Committee Secretary Suresh Verma is his brother. Sulochana Thampurati, Sarala Thampurati, Sunanda Thampurati and Sumathi Thampurati are his sisters.
