PATHANAMTHITTA: There was an attack towards a Carol group in Thiruvalla. The attack was towards the Kumbanad Exodus Church Carol group. Eight including women sustained injuries in the attack.

The Carol group said that a miscreant group of ten attacked them for no reason. The Carol group also alleged that anti-social elements were behind the attack. The police have started an investigation into the incident.

The incident happened late last night. It is alleged that a group attacked while they were about to visit their last house. Women and many others including the pastor were injured. They sought treatment in the hospital. The injuries are not serious.

Meantime, the Koippuram police clarified that the attack was led by an argument over not giving enough space to the vehicle to pass and that the reason was not political.
