Olympic Legend P V Sindhu got married to Venkata Datta Sai, executive director of Hyderabad-based Posidex Technologies, on December 22. Sindhu has now shared her wedding pictures on social media. Sindhu had previously revealed about her love for Sai in an interview.

'A trip in a flight changed everything. I met Sai for the first time then. That trip brought us closer and it felt like the stars aligned. I fell in love with Sai at first sight. Only a few close friends attended our engagement. That moment was very emotional and meaningful and one that we will cherish forever.

As a professional athlete, planning a wedding was a very difficult task. We had a clear vision of how the wedding should be. ‘Sai handled everything in the right way. She insisted that everything should reflect our love and our personalities. Everything went exactly as we had dreamt,’ said P V Sindhu.
