IDUKKI: A 22-year-old died in a wild elephant attack in Idukki. Amar Elahi, a native of Mullaringad, died in the wild animal's attack. The attack took place when he went to untie the cow. The attack took place at Mullaringad Amel Totti.

The man had gone to untie the cow in the teak plantation. His accomplice ran away. Amar Elahi, who was seriously injured in the attack, was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. The body was shifted to Thodupuzha Taluk Hospital. Locals say that elephant problems are regular in the area.
