NEW DELHI: The Reserve Bank of India has released information related to bank holidays in the upcoming year. As per reports, there will be 15 bank holidays in January 2025 alone. National, regional and public holidays are also included.

January 1- New Year's Day (bank holiday in many states of the country)

January 2 - New Year celebration, Mannam Jayanti (New Year celebration will be held in Mizoram. Banks holiday in Kerala on the occasion of Mannam Jayanti)

January 5 – Sunday (All Bank Holiday)

January 6 - Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti (Bank Holiday in Haryana and Punjab)

January 11 – Second Saturday (Holiday for all banks across the country)

January 12- Sunday and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti

January 14- Makar Sankranti and Pongal (bank holidays in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu)

January 15-Tiruvalluvar Day, Magh Bihu, Makar Sankranti (bank holiday in Tamil Nadu and Assam)

January 16- Uzhavar Thirunal (Bank holiday in Tamil Nadu on the occasion of Uzhavar Thirunal)

January 19- Sunday (All Bank Holiday)

January 22- Imoinu (banks holiday in Manipur due to Imoinu festival)

January 23- Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti (bank holiday in Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Sikkim, West Bengal, Jammu Kashmir and Delhi)

25th January – 4th Saturday (All Bank Holiday)

January 26- Republic Day (Holiday for all banks across the country)

January 30- Sonam Losar (bank holiday in Sikkim)
