THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan said that the UDF will not return if he decides to become the chief minister. He said if that happens, he will go after it. It will not happen. He said that he has a goal in bringing back the UDF. The Mundakkai-Chooralmala tragedy that happened last year has caused a great pain. New Yew is an election year. Not a single moment can be wasted, said VD Satheesan.

However, SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan had responded that Ramesh Chennithala is more suitable to become the chief minister than V D Satheesan. Chennithala tries to unite all the factions. He is a good man. It doesn’t matter who gets the key post.
