THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Election Commission is updating the electoral roll of 12 local self-government wards of Kerala. State Election Commissioner A Shahjahan informed that the draft voter list will be published on January 3 and the final voter list on January 28. Those whose names are not included in the draft list can apply from January 3 to 18. Candidates who completed 18 years of age on or before January 1, 2025 are eligible to register.

Online application should be submitted at www.sec.kerala.gov.in for inclusion in the list. Applications for amendment and transfer of entries in the list can also be made online. To remove the name, a printout of online registered objections should be submitted to the Electoral Registration Officer either in person or by post.

The Electoral Registration Officers are the Additional Secretary in the Corporation and the respective Secretaries in the Gram Panchayat and Municipality Wards. The draft list will be published in the respective local bodies, taluk offices, village offices and on the Commission's website sec.kerala.gov.in.
