KOCHI: Mridanga Vision chief owner M Nighosh Kumar (40), implicated in the case that led to the accident causing serious injuries to Uma Thomas MLA, will appear before the police today. He has been directed to reach the Palarivattom police station at 2 pm. The police have decided to arrest him if he appears. A case has been registered against him for financial fraud apart from Uma Thomas’ case. This is for collecting money in the name of getting Guinness record. The bank account of Mridanga Vision has been frozen. The police will check the documents of financial dealings.
The action was taken on the complaint of the parents of children who participated in the dance event. The money was collected through teachers. The statement of actress Divya Unni, the ambassador of the programme, will be recorded the next day. Divya was asked to produce the signed contract for the event.
Meantime, the doctors informed that MLA Uma Thomas, who was injured after falling from the stage at the Kaloor Stadium, identified people and is following the instructions.
