PATHANAMTHITTA: Travancore Devaswom Board President PS Prashanth informed that 32,49,756 devotees visited Sabarimala by the end of 41 days of Mandala Mahotsavam. 28,42,447 devotees had darshan at this time last year. An additional 4,07,309 devotees performed darshan as compared to the previous year. PS Prashanth also said that 5,66,571 devotees reached Sannidhanam through real-time online booking. Last year 4,02,269 devotees had darshan through spot booking. 74,774 devotees reached Sannidhanam through Pulmedu. Last year 69,250 devotees reached Sannidhanam through Pulmedu.

The income also increased when the 41-day mandala pilgrimage was completed. The total income during Sabarimala Mandal Pilgrimage is Rs 2,97,06,67,679. Last year it was Rs 2,14,82,87,898. This time there was an increase in income of Rs.82,23,79,781. The Devaswom Board received an income of Rs.1,24,02,30,950 from Aravana. Last year it was Rs 1,01,95,71,410. Additional income of Rs.22,06,59,540. Rs.80,25,74,567 was received as kanikka (offering box). Last year the kanikka was Rs 66,97,28,862. This year there was an increase of Rs.13,28,45,705.
