KOCHI: Malayalam film actors organisation AMMA's family gathering is ongoing in Kochi. The event at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium is now attended by superstars including Mammootty, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi.

According to organizers, 2500 people including family members of the actors will be a part of the program. As part of the gathering, there will be a football match led by Mammootty, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi. Nadir Shah is the show director. Officials said that the amount collected through the show will be used to provide medicines to the members for lifelong.

It is for the first time in AMMA's thirty-year history, that a family gathering is being called. The meeting is being held under the charge of a temporary committee in the background of the dissolution of the governing body following sexual allegations.

The family gathering, which includes superstars, is also a part of the efforts to bring cohesiveness to the group.
