SRINAGAR: A military truck overturned in an accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district. Four soldiers died. According to officials, the accident took place near Saderkoot Payeen area around 2.30 pm today. It is reported that snow on the road led to the accident. The tyre of the vehicle slipped on the snow and the vehicle fell into a gorge. Rescue operations were carried out by people including security personnel immediately.

On December 24, five soldiers died in Poonch district when a military vehicle fell 350 feet deep into a gorge. The accident took place in Balnoi area of ​​Mendhar in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The military vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.

18 army personnel were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The vehicle was going from Nilam Headquarters to Balnoi Ghora Post. The vehicle of 11 Maratha Light Infantry was involved in the accident.
