BENGALURU: Techie and his wife committed suicide by killing their children. All four were found dead in a rented house in Bengaluru. Anoop Kumar (38), his wife Rakhi (35), daughter Anupriya (five years) and son Priyansh (two years) were found dead. They hailed from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh and settled in Bengaluru for Anoop's job. The police said that the father and mother were hanging themselves after poisoning the two children.

The door was not opened when the maid came in the morning. Following this, the maid and the neighbours informed the police. The bodies were found when the police opened the door. The family lived in RMV Second Street, Bengaluru for eight years. Anoop and Rakhi were under a lot of stress regarding the health condition of their mentally challenged elder child Anupriya. The police said that they had no financial burden and that a detailed investigation would be conducted into the incident.

A case of unnatural death has been registered. Police say that the couple was very happy and had prepared for a trip to Puducherry. They had packed all the things for this on Sunday. The couple had kept three people to help them at home. One person to look after the children and two people to prepare food. The police also stated that no suicide note was found at the scene.
