THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Serial actor Renjith was more tensed than his daughter competing in the state school Kalolsavam for the first time. Amidst his busy shooting schedule, he reached Thiruvananthapuram from Ernakulam.

There were smiles on the faces of Aadya R Menon’s parents after she got 'A' Grade for playing Arjuna in Kiratham.

Aadya, an eighth standard student of St Theresa's CGHSS in Ernakulam, has been studying Kathakali for eight years. She has performed in many venues under the tutelage of Kalamandalam Radhakrishnan. She was first trained by her mother Jyothi, a dancer.

Ranjith, who plays villain in the serial Vatsalyam, is a well-known actor to the Malayali audience. Aadhya has not only got her mother's dancing skills, has acquired her father’s acting skills also. Aadhya has already acted in more than forty ad films.
