THEEKOY: A Malayali youth identified as Ashil (24) died after a car and a bike collided at Perth in Australia. The accident happened near his house on December 22. He was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.

His parents and brother were in Kerala for vacation at the time of the accident. He leaves behind his father Royal Thomas and mother Sheeba Stephen of Angamali. Aiyns Royal is his brother.

His father is one of the earliest Malayali immigrants in Perth. Ashil completed his training at the flying club and had secured a pilot's license.
