KOCHI: A special team has been formed to investigate the complaint of actress Honey Rose. The special team was formed under the leadership of Ernakulam Central ACP Jayakumar. The investigation will be led by central circle inspector. If necessary, the investigation team will be expanded, said the Kochi Police. They are also likely to summon Boby Chemmanur after issuing a notice.
Honey Rose filed a complaint against businessman Bobby Chemmanur, for his derogatory remarks made against her on social media and other means. Honey Rose herself informed about the complaint via Facebook.
'Boby Chemmanur, I have filed a police complaint at the Ernakulam Central Police Station against you for the derogatory remarks you made about me. A similar case will be filed against others who have the same mentality. You may rely on the power of your wealth, I believe in the power of Indian law,' Honey Rose wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Bobby Chemmanur said that he made the remark in a lighter vein when she came to inaugurate his store. The incident happened months ago and she did not raise any issues then. He said that he had joked with her earlier also. He did not mean to hurt anyone.
Earlier, Honey Rose had filed a complaint against many for insulting her on social media. More than 30 people were booked and one person was arrested. The police are also planning to take action against those who had abused her on her Instagram page.
