KOCHI: Police have taken businessman Boby Chemmanur into custody on the complaint filed by actress Honey Rose. Boby was taken into custody from Wayanad. Police had been closely monitoring Boby Chemmanur's movements after Honey Rose filed a complaint against him. They received information that he was preparing to go into hiding and seek anticipatory bail. Upon learning that he had moved to a resort in Wayanad, the Kochi Police informed the Wayanad Police. A police team from Kochi also arrived at the location and took Boby into custody. He will be brought to Kochi today itself. A special team led by Ernakulam Central ACP Jayakumar is investigating the actress's complaint.

The other day, Honey Rose filed a complaint against Boby Chemmanur, accusing him of insulting her womanhood and making derogatory remarks through social media and other platforms. However, Boby Chemmanur denied the allegations, claiming that there were no double-meaning remarks or malicious intent in his statements and that social media had misrepresented his words.
