SABARIMALA: Around 40,90,000 Ayyappa devotees have visited Sabarimala so far during this year's Mandala-Makaravilakku season, said Sabarimala ADM Arun S Nair. More than 90,000 Ayyappa devotees have arrived every day. The figure for many days is above one lakh.

There are only six days left for Makaravilakku Mahotsavam. There was a huge crowd of devotees in the last few days. The ADM said that the situation is such that even if more devotees come to Sabarimala they will be provided with a smooth darshan.

All departments, including the police, perform sincere service at Sabarimala. The number of virtual queues and spot bookings will be restricted on Makaravilakku Mahotsava day and two days before it as directed by the High Court. The aim is to control the rush of devotees and enable safe darshan. The ADM also informed that the arrangements for the visit during Makaravilakku will be as per the instructions of the High Court.
