THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Slow action on the announcement 'land for all the acutely poor landless people of Kerala state before November 2025'. There are 2766 landless people. However, land has been given to only 213 people so far.

This fate if for the joint assurance of the Chief Minister and the Revenue Minister. Kerala state has 5545 acutely poor families across all districts. Out of this, 2766 families do not own even a single piece of land.

This government has granted title-deed to 1,80,887 people. All of them have been holding government land for years.

In Thiruvananthapuram district where there are 435 families, land was given to only one family in total. No one received land in Pathanamthitta with 219 families and Alappuzha with 343 families. This is the situation in most other districts.
