KOCHI: The CBI has arraigned the parents of the girls in the Walayar case. A charge of abetment to rape was imposed. The CBI has filed a charge sheet in six cases.
The high court had ordered further investigation in the case. In this, charge sheets were filed against people including local residents. However, the court had rejected this. The court had then directed that a detailed investigation be conducted. The parents were arraigned in the subsequent investigation.
