PUNE: In a shocking incident, a woman was stabbed to death by her colleague at the office parking. The incident took place in Pune on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Shubhada Kadore, an employee of a BPO named NS Global in Yerawada. Police have arrested Krishna Kanoja (30), an accountant in the company, in the incident.

Krishna told the police he got provoked as Shubhada had borrowed money from him several times by telling lies. Shubhada had borrowed money several times, claiming her father was ill and needed treatment. When Krishna asked for the money back, the woman refused, citing her father’s condition. However, upon investigating in her hometown, Krishna discovered that her father was healthy and had no health issues.

On Tuesday evening, around 6 PM, Krishna called the woman to the office parking area and demanded his money back. When Shubhada refused to return the money, an argument ensued between the two. In the heat of the moment, the young man stabbed Shubhada with a kitchen knife.

Although several people in the parking area witnessed Krishna stabbing the woman, no one attempted to intervene. Some even recorded the incident. People present at the spot apprehended Krishna after he threw away the weapon. Although the woman was rushed to the hospital, her life could not be saved. The police confirmed that they have registered the youth's arrest in connection with the incident.
