KOCHI: The medical examination of businessman Boby Chemmannur, arrested and remanded in the sexual harassment complaint of actress Honey Rose, was completed. Boby Chemmannur will be shifted to Kakkanad District Jail. After hearing the verdict, Boby Chemmannur, who was in the accused's cell, became exhausted as a result of his blood pressure shooting up.
After being allowed to rest in the courtroom, Boby was taken to the General Hospital for medical examination. From here, Boby is now being taken to Kakkanad District Jail. Meanwhile, supporters of Boby protested against the decision and even tried to stop the police convoy.
The Ernakulam First Class Judicial Magistrate Court denied bail to businessman Boby Chemmanur arrested on the sexual harassment complaint against him by Honey Rose. He was remanded for 14 days. The police had registered a case against Boby under non-bailable sections. Senior advocate B Raman Pillai appeared in the court for Boby.
The prosecution argued that Boby had committed a serious mistake. If he was granted bail now, it would be like encouraging such crimes. There is proof that the accused repeatedly abused the complainant. Honey Rose had clearly expressed her hostility towards his bad behaviour. The prosecution argued that Bobby had touched her with malicious intent.
However, the accused told the court that false propaganda was being circulated against him and that he had not touched her as she mentioned in the complaint. The complainant is active on social media and news. So, she was invited to the publicity of his jewellery store. Boby's lawyer argued that what he said was misinterpreted during the inaugural function. Boby had responded to the media in court that he had done nothing wrong to apologize.
