KOCHI: Police will re-record actress Honey Rose's statement in the sexual harassment complaint against businessman Boby Chemmanur. This was after she alleged stalking and harassment from the businessman. The Central Police is also examining imposing the sections in the case. Currently, Indian Penal Code 75 and IT Act 67 are imposed against Boby.

At the same time, the police are also preparing to check other obscene remarks made by Boby Chemmanur. Videos of Boby indulging in such remarks through social media will be presented in court, to thwart the bail attempt. Police will also skim through videos of Boby Chemmanur posted on YouTube.

Boby in his bail plea requested that he is innocent and that the plea should be considered urgently.

According to Boby’s advocate:

“The charges alleged against him are not valid. The magistrate court did not properly examine the documents he presented. The arrest is not legal. The complainant has inaugurated three of his shops. He has a long-standing relationship with her. The complainant is hounding him through the media. He was abused through social media before filing the complaint. He also mentioned in the plea that he had fully cooperated with the investigation.”

Boby moved the high court after the Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court refused him bail.
