PATHANAMTHITTA: In an utmost show of divinity and reverence, a devotee presented a bow and arrow laced in gold to Sabarimala temple. Akaram Ramesh, a native of Secunderabad, Telangana and a catering businessman, presented 120 grams of gold bow and arrow and 400 grams of silver elephant souvenir to Sabarimala Sannidhanam.

Akaram Ramesh said that he and his wife Akaram Vani had vowed to present this to Sabarimala temple if their son managed to get admission for MBBS in Gandhi Medical College. Akhil Raj, son of Akaram Ramesh, is currently a second-year student in a medical college.

Akaram Ramesh reached Sabarimala with a group of nine members. Under the leadership of Prabhugupta Guruswami, Ramesh reached the holy shrine and presented his offerings to temple chief priest Melshanthi Arunkumar Namboothiri.
