LUCKNOW: A man hired killers to murder his lover’s husband and his father, but slayed a wrong person. The incident happened at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The police had recovered a body from Madehganj in Lucknow on December 30. The body was later identified to be that of Mohammad Rizwan. The police have registered a case into the incident. The police said Aftab Ahmed, Yasir, and Krishnakant were arrested in an investigation conducted.

Police said Aftab Ahmed is the main accused in the case. He planned the murder. He was in love with a woman. Ahmed hired Yasir to kill her husband and father. Yasir with the help of Krishnakant committed the murder.

Police said the killers reached Madehganj on December 30 to kill the woman's father Irfan. Due to mistaken identity killed Mohammad Rizwan. A country-made gun, 14 bullets, three mobile phones and a bike were recovered from the accused.
