Actor Jayam Ravi has changed his name. The actor said that he should be called Ravi Mohan from now on. The actor shared the information about the name change through his official Instagram account. The actor has also shared a note signed 'Ravi Mohan'.

'Dear Fans, Friends, Members of the Press, and the Public,
As we step into a new year filled with hope and endless possibilities, I am excited to share a transformative decision that marks a new chapter in my journey.
From this day forward, I will be known as Ravi / Ravi Mohan, a name that deeply resonates with my personal and professional aspirations. As I move into this new chapter, aligning my identity with my vision and values, I kindly request everyone to address me by this name and no longer as Jayam Ravi. This is my personal note and a humble request.', Jayam Ravi noted.

The actor sharing the news of his divorce last year had shocked his fans. "After much thought and discussion, I have taken the difficult decision to proceed with the dissolution of my marriage with Aarti. This decision was not made out of haste, and it stems from personal reasons that I believe are in the best interests of everyone involved," the actor had clarified then.

"My priority has always remained the same- to continue bringing joy and entertainment through my films to my dearest audience. I am still and will always be your Jayam Ravi" he had said back then, thanking his fans for their support.
