KOZHIKODE: A patient undergoing treatment for pancreas related issues committed suicide by jumping off the hospital building. The dead identified as Azkar of Thalassery was undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

Azkar jumped out through the window of the ward Tuesday early morning at 1.15 am. Though he was rushed to the casualty, his life could not be saved. He was admitted in the hospital on January 12 for pancreas related to issues. The reason for him to take the drastic step is not clear.
