LUCKNOW: A ninth-class boy committed suicide soon after his mother and brother sold his bike. The incident happened the other day at Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. The police have recovered a gun from the spot.

His mother and brother sold his bullet to stop him from roaming around with his friends. The boy’s mother is a nurse at Meerut Medical College. When his brother came back after picking his mother from the hospital, the boy’s door was locked from inside and they heard a loud sound. When they looked through the window, saw him lying in a pool of blood. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The boy had googled to know what happens to one after death. The family from Bulandshahr bought a house at Apex Colony in Meerut six months ago. His father died last year due to some illness. The boy was staying with his mother and brother here.

Meerut Rural SP Rakesh Kumar said the body was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem. He said the family have not complained about the incident to the police.
