KOCHI: Businessman Boby Chemmanur remanded in the sexual abuse case filed against him by actress Honey Rose, has been released from jail. Despite being granted bail by the high court the other day, he was not ready to come out of the jail. He was released from the jail as the high court is set to consider his case again today.

The case was to be considered again by the high court this morning when the defense lawyers reached the Kakkanad jail, completed the proceedings in ten minutes and released Boby. Boby Chemmanur released from jail, responded to the media. He said that there are a few prisoners who are unable to pay the bail amount. They approached me and expressed their concerns. I promised to resolve them. I stayed for an extra day to give them time, clarified Boby.

Justice P V Kunhikrishnan harshly criticized Boby Chemmanur while considering the case. The court told Bobby not to play drama. The court said that if necessary, his bail would be revoked.
