KOCHI: Businessman Boby Chemmanur, remanded in the sexual abuse case filed against him by actress Honey Rose, was released from jail a few hours ago. Although the high court granted him bail the other day, Boby was not ready to leave the jail. In the wake of the developments that followed, the high court had suo motu registered a case against Boby. However, the high court had settled the case after Boby Chemmanur apologized unconditionally.


Boby Chemmanur said that he will continue inviting celebrities like Honey Rose for inaugurations. Celebrities are invited for marketing and promotion purposes to run the business, he told media soon after released from jail.


'My intention is marketing, sales and promotion. I invite celebrities after telling them all this. Therefore, I will continue inviting celebrities like Honey Rose. That is the only intention and nothing else. I don’t know why such a complaint was filed. This issue has not affected my business which is doing well. Customers and shareholders are with me with full confidence,’ responded Boby Chemmanur.


The court criticized Bobby in harsh language. Boby Chemmanur had tendered an apology. Boby's lawyer apologized before Justice Kunhikrishnan, who considered the case. With this, the court accepted the apology and terminated the proceedings in the case.
