HAPUR: A lineman took revenge by cutting off the power supply to a petrol pump. The incident happened at Hapur in Uttar Pradesh. The biker also a lineman, cut off the power supply after the attendant refused to refuel his bike as he was not wearing a helmet. CCTV visuals of this has been released. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the petrol pump owner and started an investigation. The electricity department has also ordered an investigation into the incident.

The incident took place at a petrol pump near Parthapur Road in Hapur. The pump employee refused to refuel his bike as the lineman was not wearing a helmet. In order to

reduce accidental deaths, the UP government has instructed petrol pump owners not to provide petrol to those not wearing a helmet. So, the attendant refused him fuel.

Enraged over it, the lineman cut off the power supply to the petrol pump. The supply was restored within 30 minutes. The CCTV footage released shows the lineman cutting the power supply. The police announced that strict action will be taken after examining in detail the visuals.
