THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The court ordered the director of the health department, who violated the court order more than once, to appear in person at the next trial and give an explanation. The order came from a division bench comprising Kerala Administrative Tribunal Chairman Justice CK Abdul Rahim and Member N Vasudevan.
The complainant was KR Rashmi, a native of Attingal and a Nursing Grade-1 officer at Kozhikode Children's and Women's Hospital. On August 29, 2024, the court had issued an interim order to find a post for the complainant in the Thiruvananthapuram district.
The petitioner approached the court again on November 15 regarding the non-implementation of this order. Then the court directed to implement the previous order within two weeks. The court rejected the argument of the government lawyer that the measures are under consideration by the government and directed the director of the health department to come and give an explanation on February 3 when the case will be re-considered.
