PALAKKAD: The Plus One student in Palakkad, who hurled abuse at his teacher in Thrithala, has expressed regret for his act. The student confessed his mistake when summoned by the Thrithala police. The student told police that he said all that in a fit of rage after his teacher scolded him and for taking his phone way. He said that he is ready to apologize after retracting all what he said.

The student also asked police to intervene and give him an opportunity to continue in the same school. Meantime, the Thrithala police said that prima facie a case could not be filed against the student based on the teachers' complaint.

The Plus One student threatened to kill the teachers for confiscating his mobile phone. The incident happened last Friday at the Anakkara Government Higher Secondary School in Palakkad. He made the threat while sitting in the headmaster's room. Mobile phones were not allowed in school. When he violated this rule, the teacher confiscated his phone.

He created an issue after his teacher took away his phone. He was then summoned to the principal's room. The student went to his room and threatened to kill the headmaster.

He initially told the principal that he would tell everyone that he was mentally harassed. When the teacher refused to give him his mobile phone, he threatened him. When the headmaster asked him what he would do if he comes out, the student threatened to kill him. The video of the incident is being circulated on social media. The teachers and the PTA then filed a complaint with the Thrithala police.
