The title poster of the film directed by H Vinod was released this morning on Republic Day. The title poster features Vijay taking a selfie with a crowd chanting slogans. Vijay himself shared the poster on social media. It is clear from the title poster that the film is set in a political backdrop. Jana Nayagan also has the distinction of being Vijay's 69th film.

The film features a big star cast including Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Naren, Priyamani, Mamita and others. Jana Nayakan is produced by Venkat K Narayana under the banner of KVN Productions. Jagadish Palaniswami and Lohit NK are co-producing. Sathyan Suryan is handling the camera.
