THRISSUR: BJP State President K Surendran announced that the party's organisational elections up to the district level have been completed in the state. Out of a total of 30 districts under the new organisational structure, presidents have been declared for 27 districts. Among these, four are women, three belong to Christian communities, and two are from SC/ST communities.

The districts with women presidents are Kasaragod, Malappuram, Thrissur East, and Kollam. Christian community members have been elected as presidents in Thrissur East, Kottayam, and Idukki districts. Two presidents belong to SC/ST communities.

Of Kerala's 25,400 booths, organized committees have been formed in 18,000 booths. Surendran stated that BJP is the political party with the most booth committees in Kerala, after the CPM. He also claimed that the BJP has established booth committees in areas where even the Congress party lacks committees. Women constitute 30% of booth presidents. Among the mandalam (constituency) presidents, 14 are from Christian communities, and 34 are women.

The central leadership will soon announce the state president. Surendran challenged whether CPM or Congress could appoint women as district secretaries in even one district.
