PALAKKAD: It is reported that Chenthamara, the suspect in the Nenmara twin murder case, had two more people on his hitlist. The accused had issued death threats against his neighbour Pushpa and his uncle's wife. Pushpa while responding to the media revealed that she even feared the idea of going to the lavatory outside the house in fear of the accused.

Pushpa said she was on Chenthamara’s hit list and even told how the accused often issued death threats to her by brandishing weapons. Despite complaining to the police about the issue, no prudent action came from the police’s side. Following some family disputes, Chenthamara’s wife and children moved away from him. It is rumoured that an astrologer cited a woman with long hair to be the reason for his family disputes. Chethamara thus zeroed the woman as his neighbour Sajitha and killed her in 2019.

Relatives say that Chenthamara kept a close relationship only with his mother. He usually cooked for himself. It is also reported that the accused didn’t receive any help from his family to secure bail.
