THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The postmortem report of two-and-a-half-year-old Devendu from Balaramapuram has surfaced. The report said that she drowned. With this, it is clear that the child was thrown into the well alive. There are two marks on the child's hand. It is hinted that this may have caused when she was thrown into the well. There are no other injuries on her body.

The child's body has been brought to her mother's house. The body will be cremated in the premises of the house. The child's uncle Harikumar has confessed to the crime. His statement is that he killed her and no one else is involved in the murder. However, the police have not taken this at face value.

The police suspect the child's mother Shreethu to have a role in the murder. There are reports that she may be arraigned in the case. The police are examining the WhatsApp chat between Shreethu and Harikumar in detail. It is reported that crucial information has been obtained from it.

It is not clear why the child was killed. Harikumar had not cooperated with the police in the beginning of the investigation. After he reported that the child was missing, the bed in Harikumar's room was found burnt. When asked why the bed was burnt, he did not give an accurate reply.
