THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The annual music festival of the renowned music school Ramanarayana Gurukulam 'Nadagramothsava' will commence on the 31st at Sreesudha Sara concert Hall in Bengaluru. The theme of this year's festival is 'Where Kerala meets Karnataka'. Personalities from various walks of society will be honoured in the two-day music fest.
The Ramanarayana Gurukulam conducts Nadagramothsava every year honoring veterans from various fields and conducting music concerts, led by artists across the country.
Renowned Carnatic musician and disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Vidvan Palghat K.V.Narayanaswamy, and T.S.Pattabhirama Pandit will inaugurate the function at around 8.45 in the morning. Souparnika Projects Managing Director Ramji Subrahmanyan will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Personalities like astrologist Vishnuprasad, gynaecologist Dr Latha Venkataram, Carnatic musician S.A.Sashidhar, Percussionist Prof.Vaikom Venugopal, Keshava Dheekshitar will be honoured during the occasion. Musicians Charulatha Ramanujan, H.S.Subheendra, Edapally Ajith Kumar. Vishnudev Namboothiry, Hyderabad Ramamoorthy, T.S.Sajeev, Mozhikulam Harikrishnan, Hrishikesh Bharathdwaj, Gokul Hariharan, Samhitha Avadvani, Vaishnavi Mayya, Sasank Chinya, Vaidyanarayan Pandit will perform during the concert.
