Iconic singer Udit Narayan is under fire for his impromptu lip kiss on a female fan at a recent event. The fan rushed to the stage for a prized selfie with the legendary singer and even gifted him a kiss on the cheek. But the singer soon turned his face and met his lips on hers, and even continued with the kiss for a brief few seconds. The internet is divided on the issue but there is no quelling down the uproar. Lately, the singer himself came up with an explanation saying “We are decent sort of people”. The singer asked people to not give this issue much attention and to not blow this issue out of proportion.

His words were amicable but it seems it didn't find enough suitors. Internet meanwhile dug up old videos of Udit’s impromptu kisses on female singers, catching the dames off their guard.

In one such video, Udit was seen kidding singer Alka Yagnik on her cheeks, visibly making the singer react in shock. When Shreya Ghoshal won the Best Female Singer award, Udit hugged her and went for his signature cheek kiss, which didn’t go well with the singer as her expression suggested.

Meanwhile, the legendary singer's lip kiss on a female fan is now the talk of the town. Fans and more people from the fraternity are demanding a proper explanation from the singer.
