KOZHIKODE: In a scary incident, a woman jumped from the top floor of a lodge in Mukkam while escaping a rape attempt. The woman, an employee at the lodge was seriously injured in the fall. The incident happened on Saturday at midnight. The woman stated to the police that the hotel owner and two employees tried to rape her.

She is now undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. Mukkam police registered a case against three persons and started an investigation. According to more details, the woman, who joined the lodge as an employee just three months back was playing mobile games to kill time during Saturday night. During this time, three employees rushed to her with the intent to assault her.
