KOLLAM: A man found bleeding profusely near his house at Neendakara in Kollam, died on way to the hospital. The dead is Harikrishnan alias Hari Narayanan (58) of Vishnu Nivas near Neduvelil Bhagavathy Temple at Cheelanthi Junction in Neendakara. The Chavara police have taken his brother-in-law Suresh Babu (50) into custody. The police are interrogating him.

He was found lying on the road bleeding profusely in the sun Tuesday morning at around 9:30 am. On being informed, the police arrived and took him to Neendakara Government Hospital. He was later taken to Alappuzha Vandanam Medical College Hospital for better treatment, but died on the way. His left leg was in a broken stage. He was roughed up brutally. The investigation is being led by Karunagappally ASP Anjali Bhavana and sub inspector M Aneesh Kumar.
