PALAKKAD: Alathur MP K Radhakrishnan's mother Chinna (84) passed away. She was undergoing treatment at Thrissur Medical College Hospital due to age-related ailments and passed away at around 12.30 am. Radhakrishnan was in Delhi to attend the Parliament session and has left from there.

Radhakrishnan informed about his mother’s death on Facebook. He shared a picture of his mother and wrote, 'My mother, who was always my support system and shade in life, has departed.'

Her husband is late Kochunni of Vadakke Valappil. Her other children are Rajan (late), Ramesh (late), Rathi, Ramani, Rama, Rajani, Ravi. Her daughter-in-law is Rani and son-in-laws are Mohanan, Sundaran, Jayan and Ramesh.
