IRITTY: Sathyan, who won the first prize of the Christmas New Year Bumper Lottery of Rs 20 Crores, visited the Federal Bank branch and handed over his winning XD 3871 32 ticket. He reached the bank by 12 pm on Thursday. The identity of Sathyan is still shrouded as he has reportedly requested privacy and not to disclose his personal details under any circumstances.

Muthu Lottery Agency located in Iritty had sold this winning ticket to Sathyan. The agency staff revealed that one of the 10 tickets bought by Sathyan on January 24 won the first prize. According to the employees, it was common for Sathyan to buy lottery tickets in bulk and sell them to people.

Officials of various banks and media persons in Iritty were on the probe for the winner on Thursday but Sathyan remained elusive.
